(DBA: National Association of Mortgage Processors) is a "for profit" Florida corporation with a mailing address at: Presidential Circle -- 4000 Hollywood Blvd. -- Suite 555-South -- Hollywood, FL 33021. Background Checks for NAMP Certification: NAMP® is not the company running your background check directly. NAMP® will instead request a third-party company, Sterling Talent Solutions (FKA: TalentWise), to conduct a background check on your behalf (via a secure online portal which you will enter your own identification information such as social security #, birth date, etc.). If you agree to have Sterling Talent Solutions run your background check as it relates to an NAMP®/ NAMU® certification, you shall hold harmless and indemnify NAMP® and its agents, directors, officers, members, employees and/or volunteers from any and all claims, loss, damage, costs (including court costs & attorney fees) however caused resulting from or arising out of or in any way connected to the background check conducted on your behalf by Sterling Talent Solutions.
Course Updates: Mortgage regulations & guidelines can change throughout the year. With that said, we make every effort to keep our students updated and do this in a variety of ways. We start with an annual review of each course to determine if full, partial or no revamping is needed, and will revise the course(s) once a year accordingly. We also give each student one year to ask questions directly to our instructors which can help in gaining clarity on any new legislative or rule changes not reflected in the course content. From here, we may put together supplemental “update” webinars, if deemed necessary -- which are made available to each “active” student upon request, at no extra cost. Finally, we post weekly training videos and articles within our weekly e-newsletter, The Mortgage Standard, which often cover breaking mortgage news & proposed legislative changes.
Refund Policy: No refunds or credits will be issued if a student and/or customer has logged into any recorded/“live” webinar course or has requested a Certificate of Completion for the course/certification/bootcamp/bundled package purchased. If a student and/or customer has not logged into a recorded/“live” webinar course or has not requested a Certificate of Completion, the customer is entitled to a full refund (minus a $75 administrative cancellation fee) provided a refund request is received in writing or via e-mail by NAMP® within (5) calendar days from the date of purchase. NOTE: there are no refunds on corporate sponsorship packages that include advertising, “brand awareness” initiatives, email marketing, banner ads, etc.
Member/Certificant Complaint Resolution (Not Provided): We do not get involved in member/certificant complaint resolution, and as such, we will not become the judge or jury in deciding who is right and who is wrong.
NAMP® Membership Phased Out (UPDATE NOTICE): NAMP® Membership was phased out on 08/25/17; therefore, NAMP® membership is no longer offered for sale. As a result, NAMP® Membership is not a requirement to obtain/maintain active NAMP® certification. Please note that all existing active NAMP® members will still have membership benefits until his/her NAMP® membership expires.
Discount/Special Offer Disclaimer: After a purchase is made, all discounts, special offers, bundled package deals & coupons cannot be combined with any other current or future special offer, promotion, discount or group offer.
NAMP® Certification Standards: Individuals applying for NAMP® certification must comply with the highest level of ethical and moral standards. Exclusions from obtaining NAMP® certification may include individuals who have a felony conviction for theft, embezzlement, murder or any violent crime including rape, or a tax-fraud felony conviction. Those convicted of felonies of a financial nature are not eligible to sit for any of the certification exams. Note: by submitting an application, you are authorizing NAMP® access to your confidential information including employment, academic, and criminal records. This authorization is in effect until permission is revoked in writing (by mail, e-mail, or fax).
NAMP® Membership/NAMP® Certification Revocation: We reserve the right, at any time, to revoke your NAMP membership and/or NAMP® certification for reasons including (but not limited to) violation of the NAMP® Code of Ethics, expiration of NAMP® membership/certification, etc.
Use of NAMP® Logo & Name on Promotional Materials: We do NOT allow members/certificants to use the NAMP® logo/name on any promotional materials (i.e. business cards, websites, brochures, online/print advertising, etc.). However, you may list your active NAMP® certification and active NAMP® membership on your resume and LinkedIn.com profile. For example, you may add the NAMP® certification acronym to your LinkedIn.com profile name (for example, John Smith, NAMP®-CMLP). You may also add the NAMP® certification to your LinkedIn.com "Certifications" section of your profile, i.e. Certified Master Loan Processor (NAMP®-CMLP). NOTE: Please do NOT add your NAMP Member # as the "License #”. Remember, your NAMP® certification is not a license; it is strictly a “professional development” program.
Yearly Re-Certification Policy: The National Association of Mortgage Processors® (NAMP®) added a new yearly re-certification requirement in June 2016. This policy requires all new NAMP® certificants to get re-certified each year in order to maintain active NAMP® certification. However, all active NAMP® certificants that received NAMP® certification prior to June 2016 will be “grandfathered in” and not required to get re-certified each year. These "grandfathered in" NAMP® certificants must still adhere to the NAMP® Code of Ethics for NAMP® certification to remain active.
